Linear has begun a partnership with the energy company Fortum. The goal of the collaboration is to develop the service experience related to buying, selling, and renting homes, and to make handling practical home-related matters smoother—including arranging electricity at the right time.
Decisions and arrangements related to housing often occur at the same moment: a new home is found, schedules become clear, and everyday practicalities need to be organized. Linear’s goal is to make the process clearer and easier for all parties involved, and partnerships play an important role in achieving this.
The collaboration will appear as part of a broader ecosystem in which the parties involved in a transaction receive their own service platform, while our customers gain new kinds of business opportunities.
“We are building Linear for the long term together with strong partners. Fortum is a well-known and trusted partner, and this collaboration supports our goal of developing the housing service experience in a comprehensive way,” says Miro Eriksson, CEO of Linear.
“Our collaboration with Linear allows us to be present in customers’ everyday lives at the moment when a new home is found and an electricity contract becomes relevant. Through us, electricity matters can be handled easily and effortlessly, ensuring the lights are on at the right time when moving into a new home,” says Tuomas Yrttiaho, Head of Consumer Business in Finland at Fortum.
